Tag Duels or at least 4 player Matches would really add to the experience of the game. The thing YuGiOh Online really needs is a bit of variety to break up the sometimes mundane normal dueling that takes up a third of the game. However it would also need handicaps to keep the game balanced depending on how the duels are set up(see 3 on 1). Tag Duels have already been put in both the PSP and NDS YuGiOh games, so they already have the formula for it, it must have some networking issue to keep it out of YuGiOh Online 3 or which sadly can happen too often. Either way it would be welcomed by I think all of the community.
Custom Ban-lists
The title says it all, having the ability to share your ban-lists with other Online Players for Custom User events would be great and would allow for ways to break up the same old decks and duels. Ways to do it would obviously need restrictions, such as allowing a limited number of cards you can Ban/Limit/Semi-limit. There could also be a problem with sharing said lists but even that could be solved with a system similar to Duel logs to share your Ban Lists with other users.
Options, that actually save
Not many people may notice this, but when you quit out of YO3 and restart the options that you put in, especially DUEL OPTIONS do not save to a file, and you have to redo them every time you log in. It would be really nice if these saved to an External File, or some file that is synced with the Konami servers, however with the way Konami Servers are, probably better with an external file on your local machine.
Wide Screen – Full Screen
If you run a display that is not 4:3 you cannot play YO3 in full screen. I myself have a 16:9 display on my laptop and sometimes would like to have the game running in full screen to block out all distractions to my Duelling/Deck Building. Even if I change the size of my screen it still is not enough to have a nice immerse experience.
Team Section
Something a few of us already have an idea is coming but is still unconfirmed. Now the idea behind a area of the game where you can check out your Team Mates Live Stats would be great to have, especially for leaders. See who earns TP, who duels alot, other stats like Wins/Losses basically the ability to view some information from their profile all the time. Also you could then build upon that and add Team Duels where you can check which Teams you have defeated. Again a cloudy dream but a feature that we could all use.
Credit Card BP Worldwide
No not the BP150, actual BP Phases that you can get the bonus cards on, if Konami wanted to play it smart and kill 3rd party BP Sellers, they would do this. If Paypal has too many problems worldwide, then I am sure Credit card will not have half as much paypal would. Regardless if you could pay $2.99 for a BP or in my case and hopefully €2.50 I would be very pleased.
Premium Packs
To get the rest of the TCG exclusives and whatnot out and get a bit more up to date, add special Premium Packs into the shop. These would be better than being months behind in card releases. Granted it would be expensive to buy, but they would be cool to have.
Custom LP Settings
The ability to set Life Points for a duel would also be a welcome addition to the game. They would allow for more interesting events run by people and you could have true Team duels where your team shares a certain amount of life points.
More Items/Item Colours
Simple enough here, more items for more customization. Would add some variation to already dry looking set of avatars we currently have. Perhaps a colour selector like the hair and eyes for certain clothes.
Community Manager/Moderators
This game needs a liaison to the community badly. There is an air about the game that it is the wild west now with a few people holding respect in the community. If Konami were to think wisely they would use certain already in community people to Moderate the community in their respected language zones.
