What is it good for?

I was just going through a random assortment of old cards I have stockpiled iin the back of my cupboard when I came across a card which I could not imagine a beneficial situation to which it could be used. Why would Konami release such a card with no effective use? It makes no sense to me but I also know its not the only card that has no effective use or application. So I started this thread to bring these abombinations to light and discuss any situation they could be used no matter how vague. To start the discussion off, the card I found in my cupboard was this:

A lot of things actually...
1) If you have Morphing Jar face-Down on your side of the field and you have cards in your hand that you don't want to discard (and don't want to set or summon for nothing useful), you can activate it to return those 2 cards to the deck.

2) Assault Mode monsters must be summoned from your deck, and not from your hand, so in case you have any AM monster that you wish to summon but it's in your hand, you can use POG to put it back to the deck and summon it.

3) It can be used in Gladiator Beast Decks. For exemple, Secutor, it must be SS from your deck in order to activate it's effect.

4) Monsters with High Level and that can be SS with searchable monsters (Tomato, Angel, Rat,etc...). If you draw by exemple Divine Dragon and you want to SS it by Angel's effect, you can use POG to return it and like that you can get it out. Legendary Fiend is another option (I've used POG for it many times in Fiend deck...). Cards we're gonna get like Erthbound Immortals, etc...

5) Wulf, Lightsworn monster. We all know when you draw it, it's a dead card. So you can return it to your deck using POG and you'll be able to discard it with LS effects...

These are the tips that come in my mind for now. If I remember I'll let you know.

like yehoo said there are some uses for this card, if you think about it long enough you can find a use for any card in the game, question is are they actually worth using or are there better alternatives like in this case mallet/reload/card trader.

it got some uses but there are better cards to do it.
for all the comboes mentioned before i can think of mallet and reload to do it better
and for secutor glads already got their own mallet

so basically this card is useless however you see it. sorry to burst your bubble @_@

But that would ruin this lovely thread pink... and as Bird pointed out all that uses yehoo came up with are better executed by other cards. This effect bites the big one, but not as much as this card;



Now I'm going to take the opportunity to point out the one possible case that this might be effective and thats in conjunction with BattleMania. What have you guys got?

it can be used with Rainbow Life for massive LP gain

edit: nvm, they can choose not to attack. so basically its only viable combo is battle mania otks

battle mania and all out attack, stone statue or any high defense monster, but a good defense and something that forces your opponent to attack, canyon would work here, it would be a better card if it forced ur opponent to attack twice but as it's option a somewhat waste of a card
