Community Manager Position Opening

As a website owner, I realise that the community is what makes this site what it is, and drives it forward. So now I offer you guys a new position to help us maintain the sites popularity.

Community Manager

The Community Manager is an electable position and will hold this place for 3 Months.
During those 3 months as the community manager, you will be responsible for bringing in many players from YuGiOh Online game to our site, and helping them when they get here. You will be asked to run contests and have limited moderation capabilities. You will also have direct line between yourself and the management of the site. Also you will be asked to create content on the site and keep the general buzz of the site going.

Well where to start with applying for a job that's there to help gather the community and build up / advertise the site without treading on others feet etc. So here it goes..... I'd like to apply for this position as indeed it would help me in more than a few ways such as.

1) it will help me fill up a lot of spare time i spend just doing nothing productive except videos gaming etc which hey isn't to bad but i would prefer to do something that has some sort of value to others.

2) I enjoy helping others and resolving issues between them if possible.

3) I know my way around the Yugioh world on and off the game and will be able to transmit what Vastacon Values.

4) I am familiar with the registration process's and site layout. Which enables me to easily direct/ aid people with specific issues with say ... signing up to the site/ becoming a member of the Vastacon team/ or simply needing help from higher ups me being well as custom to Vastacon ways will help me to help bridge the gap between certain groups of individuals within the community already.

5) I have a extremely flexible life in which i can readily be available at the drop of a hat apart from thursdays at 1-00pm gmt due to appointments with psyciatrist etc won't go into all that here.

6) I have quite the active imagination enabling me to think up events contests etc previous experience has come from Dmg/Dmu before it and the late Dmo.

7) I really do enjoy helping others even without being in a position of authority etc i freely help others who need it and encourage them to join the site as i know it can only benefit others to become part of our assorted commmunity.

8) I am able to edit videos well and could quite happily create advertisement videos for vastacon for example would put a team together #1 on that list of people to approach would be icing as she has already shown her own capabilities with video editing music choices etc you get the idea.

I thank you for reading this application as i know it may be a bit long hence why i numbered it as some of it may just be me rambling on. i tried to stay to the points as much as i could without my concentration moving onto new deck ideas / combo's for some of my current decks .... but enough of that i have nothing more to say other than i hope its me that gets picked.

After my ongoing rant today in the shoutbox , I have decided to apply for this position.

Even though there have been people who have played the game longer than I have, I am the perfect candidate for this job because:

1)Ignore the post above mine

2)Although i do admit that my reputation is not well known among the 'lower levels', I am well known among the older community of Yu-Gi-Oh. With the help of with the help of my fellow friends, we can help bring in more members to duelaccelerator.com.

3)I can easily help and navigate new member not only around the site, but also within the game. I am very patient and I'm able to hold my composure in helping the inconsistent 'lower levels'

4)As for the tournaments, my plan is to continue the traditional tournaments that Doomlord has started (for example, The 8 Trials of Doom).

5)I would be more than happy to devote my spare time into improving and/or fixing the site.
